As a steward of the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board and an elected officeholder I am honored to invite you to hold the 2008 Green Party National Annual Meeting and Presidential Nominating Convention in Minneapolis.

Minneapolis is known for its parks, lakes and home to the only falls along the Mighty Mississippi River. Bike paths, walking trails, beautiful streets lined with trees, a park within six blocks of every resident and even dog parks for our four-legged friends are part of the fabric of this great City.

Minnesota is known as a political hotbed and has even had 3rd party politicians serve in high offices such as Governor. Minneapolis is a strong union town and a leader in addressing sustainability and climate change issues for our future.

Join us as we celebrate the 10 Key Values of The Green Party as it does its work in 2008. Come to Minneapolis in July 2008 for a Green and Growing Experience.
